Winter Athletes Honored at Awards Ceremony

On Thursday March 7, the Eagles Athletics department honored excellence at their winter sports awards ceremony. The Upper School celebrated the Varsity and JV Boys Basketball, Varsity Girls Basketball, Varsity and JV Equestrian, and Varsity Boys and Girls Swimming programs. In addition to the individual award winners, the School also honored the success that the teams had, including the girl's Basketball Championship title and Equestrian Regional Championship awards. There was a special acknowledgement for Senior Elia Alewine, who had the distinction of being a part of FOUR championship teams during her time at ICS: two in lacrosse and two in basketball. This is a rare feat for many high school athletes.
