Grades 6-8 Athletics

Indian Creek’s interscholastic athletics program promotes personal growth – and provides opportunities for students to be a part of a team while developing the skills necessary for future high level play.

In grades 6-8, every student has the opportunity to contribute to a team according to his or her level of commitment. Our program is designed to instill a lifelong interest in physical fitness in an inclusive and positive environment, regardless of ability, past experience, or background in sports. Sixth through eighth grade teams participate in the Chesapeake Scheduling Co-op which consists of local independent schools in and around Anne Arundel County. We limit practices to two or three days per week to allow students time to pursue other interests.
