Sara White

Sara White is an experienced Educational Technology leader. Currently serving as the Director of Educational Technology, she has been instrumental in leading the school's Ed Tech since 2021. Sara excels in developing professional development workshops, managing learning management systems, and fostering innovation through project-based learning. Sara spearheaded the school's partnership with LG and designed and managed the renovation of our new skills-based learning space. In addition to her role as a computer science instructor, she has led the Girls Who Code club at Indian Creek School. Sara also played a pivotal role in the implementation of our Innovation Lab.

Previously, she held the role of Academic Technology Coordinator at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, CA, where she managed the school’s educational technology needs and led faculty professional development. Sara also has extensive experience as an Ed Tech Specialist and teacher at Hamden Hall Country Day School in Hamden, CT.
 
In addition to her educational roles, Sara has a background in public relations and reputation management, having worked as an Account Supervisor at Porter Novelli and PR Manager at Onyx Environmental Group in London. Sara has lived in Malaga, Spain and London, England. 

Sara holds graduate degrees from Boise State University and Miami University, and a BA in Spanish and Psychology from Dickinson College. She is certified in various educational technologies and is fluent in Spanish.
