Student Spotlight: Maia Leeks ‘25

Maia has been at ICS since 2021.  She is an avid equestrian and rides for the ICS team and outside of school.  Her favorite thing about ICS “is how understanding the staff are. The staff members are really helpful when it comes to balancing schoolwork and personal problems. They would always try to listen to you and help you the best way they can.”

 

Her favorite school subjects are Spanish and English.  Her fondest memory at ICS is “…when I went to my freshman year orientation. I felt automatically welcomed by everyone, and I knew I was going to fit in.”  She is already looking forward to college and to continue learning and exploring.

 

“My biggest personal achievement was when I won champion for the first time at a horse show. I really worked hard for that moment, and from that experience, I learned to push myself to do my very best in everything I do.”
