Newest Inductees to ICS National Art Honor Society Vow to Create a More Beautiful World

On Wednesday, October 30, Indian Creek School was proud to hold the 11th Annual National Art Honor Society (NAHS) induction ceremony.  ICS chapter officers, Anna Judge '25, Emma Erceg '25, Abbey Bunker '25, and Cameron Gill '27, along with chapter advisor Ms. Hilary Briles, welcomed 13 new members to the group, which actively participates in various art events and fundraisers, including face-painting at CREEKfest, creating customized pet ornaments to support the SPCA, drawing cat portraits for SPCA to aid in cat adoptions, painting sets for school plays, and contributing an inclusive bird painting for the school auction. During the ceremony, the inductees took the NAHS oath: “I will in my life, to the best of my ability through my talents in art, help to create a more beautiful world for myself, for humankind, and for all living things.” To commemorate their induction each new member received a red carnation, a certificate, and a National Art Honor pin.
