Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society Inducts 12 New Members

Congratulations to the newest members of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society!
On Wednesday, December 4, Indian Creek Upper School held the annual induction ceremony for Mu Alpha Theta, a esteemed national math honor society. During School meeting, 12 new members were officially inducted into the ICS chapter. The ceremony began with a warm welcome from Chapter advisor Glen Klakring, who introduced the inductees and congratulated them on their accomplishment. The new members then recited the chapter’s pledge, marking the beginning of their membership. 
 
The ICS Math Honor Society is an organization dedicated to elevating and appreciating excellence in Mathematics in the lives of students. Mu Alpha Theta members offer dedicated one-on-one tutoring sessions each week, as well as "math help offices" during the school day, where students can walk in for support with any math challenges they may face.
