Summer at the Creek: Week 1

* Please note that this is a 4-day camp week. There will be no camp on Thursday, June 19, for the Juneteenth Holiday.

  • Little Creekers (Pre-K and Kindergarten)

    Give your little one the perfect first summer camp experience at Little Creekers! Designed for our youngest campers, this camp is full of fun, laughter, and new experiences that help foster growth, creativity, and social skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
    Each day, campers will enjoy a variety of traditional camp activities, including arts and crafts, songs, games, story time, nature walks, and water play will keep them engaged, active, and excited to come back each day.

    Our experienced counselors will lead the way, offering plenty of opportunities for your child to explore, grow, build friendships, and develop confidence – all while having tons of summer fun. Come join us for one week or up to six weeks of summer fun, laughter, and adventure. Campers will leave each day with new skills, new friends, and plenty of smiles!

    $350 for week 1 (Runs 6 weeks – Campers can join for any number of sessions)
  • Eagles Camp (Grades 1-2)

    Let your child spread their wings and soar with Eagles Camp, a traditional day camp designed specifically for rising first and second graders! This camp is packed with exciting activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and outdoor fun, all in a safe, supportive environment.

    At Eagles Camp, campers will enjoy a mix of classic camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports and games, nature walks, team-building challenges, and more. Each day is filled with new opportunities to learn, grow, and make lasting friendships. Whether they're creating a masterpiece in arts and crafts, playing a friendly game of kickball, or exploring the outdoors on a nature hike, campers will be actively engaged and having fun every step of the way.

    Our caring and experienced counselors will guide campers through each activity, fostering confidence, social skills, and a love of adventure. Throughout the camp, children will develop important life skills like cooperation, problem-solving, and communication, all while having a blast with their new friends!
    Eagle Camp is the perfect place to discover the joys of camp, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Come join us for one week or up to six weeks of summer fun, laughter, and adventure!

  • Rising Stars Week 1 (Grades 1-9)

    Please note that camp runs from June 16- 27. Campers must enroll for the entire 2-week session.

    Join us for a fun production of the musical THE CLAW!
    When an out-of-order claw game suddenly turns back on, all of the toys are ecstatic! Well… all of the toys except for Dot, a terrified stuffed cow. Dot’s desperate to hold onto her home and her best friend, Aiden. Can Dot conquer her fear of the unknown with some help from the Flair Bears, Mighty Mutant Power Turtles, Beanie Elders, and the all-knowing Mystical 8-ball?

    Whether you love to be a star on stage or if you’ve never tried performing, this is a fun and exciting experience.  Campers will gain instruction and practice in singing, dancing and acting each day.  Each age group will work on its portion of the production and will be an important part of the creative process and the final performance.  Mornings are spent in separate dance, singing and acting classes and afternoons are for large group rehearsals on stage preparing for the big day!

    Get ready for a summer filled with adventure, exploration, and fun at Creek Camp! Designed for rising third and fourth graders, this traditional day camp is packed with exciting activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and outdoor exploration.

    At Creek Camp, campers will enjoy a wide variety of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, nature hikes, scavenger hunts, group games, and team challenges. Each day is a new adventure, with opportunities to explore the great outdoors, learn new things, and have fun with their camp friends. Whether they’re creating their own art projects, playing a spirited game of soccer, or discovering the wonders of nature, every camper will find something to enjoy!

    Our experienced counselors will lead campers in activities that encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership, all while having a blast. Creek Camp is the perfect summer experience for campers who are ready to explore, play, and make new friends in a fun, active environment.   • Indoor Sports (Grades 3-8)

    Stay active and have fun, rain or shine, at Indoor Sports Camp!

    Designed for rising third through seventh graders, this camp is all about getting moving, developing athletic skills, and enjoying friendly competition. Campers will experience a mix of classic indoor sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor soccer, along with fun, unique activities like dodgeball, and floor hockey. Our skilled instructors will teach you the fundamentals of each sport while helping campers develop skills in coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship through drills, scrimmages, and mini-tournaments.

    Whether you’re shooting hoops, spiking a volleyball, or working with teammates to win a relay, campers will have a blast staying active, building confidence, and having fun.

  • LEGO and Field Day Adventures (Grades 4 & 5)

    LEGO & Field Day Adventures combines hands-on creativity with high-energy fun, ensuring that every camper has a chance to shine.  Each day, campers will unleash their imagination as they build incredible structures and designs with LEGO bricks—from towering skyscrapers to epic spaceships—while improving their problem-solving and engineering skills. When it’s time to head outside, the action will continue with a variety of thrilling field day activities. Campers will work together in teams to take on relay races, obstacle courses, tug-of-war, and other exciting challenges that keep everyone moving and laughing. It’s the perfect opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re a master builder or an athlete in the making, there’s something for everyone at LEGO and Field Day Adventures!

  • Camp News (Grades 5-8)

    Camp News is all about discovering, reporting, and sharing exciting happenings of the week at the Creek! This camp is perfect for young journalists, budding photographers, and anyone who loves telling a great story. Whether you dream of being the next big reporter or just want to have fun exploring the world of media, Camp News is the place for you.

    Camp News campers will tackle:
    • News Reporting & Writing: Learn the ins and outs of writing compelling news stories, from interviews to headlines.
    • Photography & Videography: Capture unforgettable moments and master the art of visual storytelling.
    • Broadcasting: Step in front of the camera or behind the microphone to create your own podcasts and video reports.
    • Creative Projects: Work with your camp team to create your very own newsletter, news show, or media production.
    By the end of the week, campers will have experienced all the skills needed to report the news like a pro, and may have even created their very own camp newspaper or newscast to share with family and friends!

  • Everything Drones (Grades 5-8)

    This high-tech camp will immerse campers into the world drone engineering, by challenging them to assemble their own drones from the ground up. With guidance from expert instructors, campers will explore the basics of electronics, mechanics, and coding to bring their flying machines to life.

    Once their drones are built, it’s time to take to the skies! Campers will learn the art of drone piloting, mastering the controls and taking part in fun flight challenges. From drone obstacle courses to precision flying, every day offers new opportunities to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while having a blast in the air!

    $400 / week (Runs 3 weeks – Campers can join for any number of sessions)
  • Art Adventures (Grades 6-8)

    Whether you’re a burgeoning Picasso or a fan of the arts, Creek’s Art Adventures camp will immerse campers into the rich artistic treasures that the MD/DC area has to offer!  Each day, campers will board the bus, get off campus, and experience fun and exciting art experiences not found in traditional art camps.

    Art Adventures Itinerary (subject to change):
    • Day 1: McFadden's Glass Studio in Baltimore, MD
    • Day 2: Washington, DC, Museum Day, including a visit to the Banksy and Basquiat Exhibit at the Hirshorn, followed by the opportunity to draw in the Smithsonian Sculpture Garden
    • Day 3: American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD, followed by an afternoon of painting and drawing in Federal Hill
    • Day 4: Plein Air Painting at Bevery Triton Park in Edgewater, MD
    $550 / 1-week
  • Field Trip Fanatics (Grades 6-8)

    Ready to explore new places, discover exciting activities, and make unforgettable memories? Join us for Field Trip Fanatics, designed for rising Middle School students who love adventure, travel, and fun! This camp is all about hitting the road and experiencing the world beyond the classroom through a variety of fun field trips. Itinerary to be provided closer to June. Students are welcome to bring money to the field trips, but are not expected to. Lunches will be provided.

  • Counselor in Training (CIT) (Grades 9-11)

    Ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us for Counselor in Training (CIT) Camp, where teens will develop valuable skills, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for future roles as camp counselors! Designed for teens who may be too old for traditional camp offerings and too young to be hired full-time, this camp offers a unique opportunity to learn the responsibilities and joys of being a camp leader while having fun and making lifelong friendships.

    Throughout the program, CITs will receive training in communication, team-building, conflict resolution, and child development. They’ll learn how to plan and lead activities, work with younger campers, and manage group dynamics. Along the way, CITs will also participate in workshops on safety, first aid, and team leadership to prepare them for the real-world challenges of working in a camp environment.

    In addition to learning the ins and outs of being a counselor, CITs will have opportunities to shadow experienced camp counselors, assist with daily camp activities, and contribute to the overall camp experience. By the end of the camp, participants will leave with a certification in leadership and valuable experience that can help them land future roles as counselors or in other leadership positions.
