Building Authentic Leaders Now and in the Future

The Evergreen Institute is dedicated to fostering growth through workshops, collaborative learning, and leadership development, complemented by life coaching coursework and certification. In partnership with Anne Arundel Community College’s Life Coaching Certification Program, we prepare our students (fellows) for mentorship roles both within our school and beyond.

Our program equips students with essential life skills such as self-awareness, effective communication, and a commitment to mental and physical health. These competencies are crucial for academic success and indispensable for navigating life beyond the classroom. In today’s ever-evolving job market, it’s vital to provide students with transferable skills that are adaptable to future roles, many of which have yet to be conceptualized.

Using interactive tools, we will gather insights from participants on the skills they consider essential for the future. We will then engage in design thinking exercises covering topics such as empathy building and futurist activities to imagine new initiatives. This approach aims to equip educators and administrators with practical strategies to nurture students' holistic development, preparing them not only for college but for a dynamic and uncertain future where adaptability, empathy, and creativity are critical.
